There are so many steps to this process, I’m likening it to a marathon and only looking at the next few steps. When I run a marathon I break it down into 10km-long sections and don’t think about the big picture.
I’ve made some small progress in the past few weeks:
- Completed owner builder course and submitted application to QBCC for owner builder permit
- Engineering drawings are complete and have been sent to Certifier
- Wastewater system has been chosen (well sort of – a product name has been nominated on paperwork). I’m yet to find a plumber, nor have I done the required research to choose the wastewater system, but I can progress forward by nominating the name of a system
- I have an understanding of what’s required to relocate my shipping container and permanently install it
